### Subtitle 9. Registration Classifications and Fees

#### Section 13-923

(a) When registered with the Administration, every truck tractor or similar motor vehicle used for propelling, supporting, or drawing a trailer or semitrailer is a Class F (tractor) vehicle.

(b)

  (1) Subject to paragraph (2) of this subsection, for each Class F (tractor) vehicle, the annual registration fee is based on the maximum gross weight of the vehicle in combination with a trailer or semitrailer, as follows:

  40,000 (minimum) - 60,000            $21.00

  60,001 - 80,000 or more                $22.50

  (2)

    (i) On or after July 1, 2024, but before July 1, 2025, the annual registration fee under paragraph (1) of this subsection is increased by an additional $20.00.

    (ii) On or after July 1, 2025, the annual registration fee under paragraph (1) of this subsection is increased by an additional $30.00.
