As provided in this section, a political subdivision of this State, whether acting alone or jointly with another political subdivision, may: Establish or operate any airport, airport facility, or air navigation facility; and For this purpose, use any suitable property owned or controlled by the political subdivision. An airport or facility may be established under this section: By a county, only within its boundaries or the boundaries of any other county with which it is acting jointly; and By Baltimore City or a municipal corporation, either within or without its boundaries.
