Initial Filing of a Claim. A docket number is assigned to each claim when a new claim is filed. Subject to strike-period restrictions, a claim becomes a public record open during business hours for inspection. Upon receipt of a claim, the chairman of an arbitration panel promptly shall forward to the Director any information and copies of correspondence and pleadings concerning the status of the claim, so that the Director's records are current. All original pleadings are filed with the Director except for orders which are to be signed by the chairman. Any portion of the claim docket that contains one party's strikes in any given category is removed from public availability until the striking process has been completed in each category. Each claim or third-party claim is to be accompanied by a filing fee of $40.
