In this subtitle, the following terms have the meanings indicated. Terms Defined. “Commission” means the Governor's Drug and Alcohol Abuse Commission. “Fund” means the Maryland Drug and Alcohol Grants Program Fund. “Private sources” means: A charitable organization which provides funds to further the purposes of the Commission through the use of contributions solicited from the public; A foundation or association which provides funds to further the purposes of the Commission; A business organization which provides funds to further the purpose of the Commission; or An individual who provides funds to further the purposes of the Commission. “Public sources” means any administration, agency, association, authority, board, bureau, college, commission, committee, council, foundation, fund, department, institute, institution, public corporation, service, trust, university, or other unit of the Executive Branch of State government and includes any subunit within any of these units.
