The caseworker shall provide services to youth that are committed to the local department or in out-of-home placement pursuant to a voluntary placement agreement that address the youth's physical, mental health, and emotional needs as delineated in COMAR 07.02.11. The caseworker shall also provide services, which may include: Making referrals to educational or vocational training programs appropriate to a youth's skills; Supporting and monitoring a youth's compliance with the service agreement; and Maintaining monthly visits or contacts with the youth to support progress toward achievement of the youth's identified goals. The caseworker shall conduct a written review every 180 days to determine the appropriateness of: The youth's living arrangements; Any service agreement; and The youth transitional services provided. The caseworker shall assist the youth to apply for medical assistance before exit from out-of-home placement.
