A household may retain countable resources up to $2,000 except as described in §B of this regulation and Regulation .12 of this chapter. A household may retain countable resources up to $3,000 if the household includes a member who is: 60 years old or older; or Disabled as described in Regulation .02B of this chapter. The local department shall measure the household's countable resources against the maximum allowable amount to determine the household's eligibility.
