### Chapter 04 — Procedures for Contested Case Hearings

#### Regulation .04 Notice of Agency Action.

*COMAR 08.01.04.04*

A. The Secretary shall give reasonable notice of the agency's action in accordance with State Government Article, § 10-207, Annotated Code of Maryland when the Department is required by law to:

  (1) Provide a contested case hearing; or

  (2) Provide the opportunity to request a contested case hearing.

B. Unless a relevant statute or regulation provides otherwise, a notice of agency action shall be provided to the parties or the parties' representatives by mail.
