Private encroachments are prohibited on State park land. Encroachments include, but are not limited to: Fences; Walls; Dog runs; Dog houses; Storage structures; Driveways; Compost piles; Swimming pools; Tree houses; Play houses; Woodpiles; Gardens; Play equipment; Television or radio reception devices; and Other devices, structures, refuse, or material. Private mowing, clearing, application of chemicals, and other maintenance activities are prohibited on State park lands. Exceptions to this regulation may be issued by the Superintendent to lessees of the State and to private concerns when an activity would be in the best interest of the State.
