#### Regulation .01 Choptank River.

*COMAR 08.18.09.01*

The Choptank River encompasses all the waters of the Choptank River and its tributaries upstream of a line beginning at Blackwalnut Point, at or near Lat. 38° 40.200' N., Long. 76° 20.350' W., then running 134° (True) to Cooks Point, at or near Lat. 38° 37.867' N., Long. 76° 17.217' W., excluding the Tred Avon River, beginning at a point at or near Lat. 38° 40.250' N., Long. 76° 11.867' W., then running 73° (True) to a point, at or near Lat. 38° 40.550' N., Long. 76° 10.617' W., and Tuckahoe River, beginning at a point at or near Lat. 38° 48.828' N., Long. 75° 53.887' W., then running 42° (True) to a point at or near Lat. 38° 48.927' N., Long. 75° 53.772' W.

#### Regulation .02 Bolingbroke Creek.

Bolingbroke Creek encompasses the area beginning at a point at or near Lat. 38° 36.132' N., Long. 76° 1.735' W., then running 41° (True) to a point, at or near Lat. 38° 36.233' N., Long. 76° 1.623' W., and running to the head of the creek. This area has a 6-knot speed limit Saturdays, Sundays, and State holidays, during the boating season.

#### Regulation .03 Cambridge Creek and Municipal Yacht Basin.

All of the waters of the Choptank River and Cambridge Creek south of a line beginning at a point on shore on the west side of the Cambridge Municipal Yacht Basin at or near Lat. 38°34.681'N., Long. 76°4.395'W., then running 48° (True) following the Basin bulkhead and floating pier system, to a point, at or near Lat. 38°34.72'N., Long. 76°4.338' W., then running 137° (True) following the Basin bulkhead and floating pier system, to a point, at or near Lat. 38°34.714' N., Long. 76°4.33' W., then running 137° (True) following the Basin bulkhead and floating pier system, to a point, at or near Lat. 38°34.667' N., Long. 76°4.275' W., then running 94° (True) following the Basin bulkhead and floating pier system, to a point, at or near Lat. 38°34.666'N., Long. 76°4.245'W., then running 138° (True) to a point at the east end of the floating pier system, at the north side of the entrance of the Municipal Yacht Basin at or near Lat. 38°34.642'N., Long. 76°4.219'W., then running 143° (True) to a point at the end of the bulkhead at the east side of the entrance of the Franklin Street Boat ramp, at or near Lat. 38°34.436' N., Long. 76° 4.021'W., then running 143° (True) to a point on the bulkhead, at or near Lat. 38°34.431'N., Long. 76°4.016'W. This area has a 6-knot speed limit all year.

#### Regulation .04 Ferry Boat Marina.

The Ferry Boat Marina encompasses the area beginning at a point at or near Lat. 38° 35.547' N., Long. 76° 2.987' W., then running 99° (True) to a point, at or near Lat. 38° 35.545' N., Long. 76° 2.973' W., and running to the head of the marina. This area has a 6-knot speed limit all year.

#### Regulation .05 Choptank Marina Boat Basin.

The Choptank Marina boat basin encompasses the area within the confines of the Choptank Marina at Choptank, Maryland beginning at a point at or near Lat. 38° 40.835' N., Long. 75° 57.073' W., then running 123° (True) to a point, at or near Lat. 38° 40.830' N., Long. 75° 57.063' W., and running to the head of the marina. This area has a 6-knot speed limit all year.

#### Regulation .06 Dogwood Harbor — Tilghman Island.

Dogwood Harbor encompasses the area beginning at the northeast corner of Avalon Island at or near Lat. 38° 42.555' N., Long. 76° 19.778' W., then running 29° (True) to Dogwood Harbor LT 2, at or near Lat. 38° 42.588' N., Long. 76° 19.755' W., then running 327° (True) to the shore near Wharf Road at or near Lat. 38° 42.790' N., Long. 76° 19.920' W., and running to the head of the harbor. This area has a 6-knot speed limit during the boating season only.

#### Regulation .07 San Domingo Creek.

San Domingo Creek encompasses the area beginning at a point at or near Lat. 38° 46.578' N., Long. 76° 13.845' W., then running 271° (True) to a point, at or near Lat. 38° 46.580' N., Long. 76° 13.987' W., and running to the head of the Creek. This area has a minimum wake zone all year.

#### Regulation .08 Upper Choptank River.

The Upper Choptank River encompasses all of the waters of the Choptank River and its tributaries upstream of a line beginning at a point at the east shore of the Choptank River at the MD Route 404 (Business) Bridge at or near Lat. 38° 53.345' N., Long. 75° 50.115' W., then running 357° (True) to a point, at or near Lat. 38° 53.422' N., Long. 75° 50.120' W. This area, unless otherwise regulated, has a speed limit all year of:

A. 35-knots daytime; and

B. 25-knots nighttime.

#### Regulation .09 Choptank River — Denton.

Forthe purpose of this regulation, the Choptank River encompasses all the waters of the Choptank River upstream of a line beginning at a point at the east shore of the Choptank River, at or near Lat. 38° 53.072' N., Long. 75° 50.333' W., then running 235° (True) to USCG Daymarker 80, at or near Lat. 38° 53.063' N., Long. 75° 50.348' W., then running 238° (True) to a point, at or near Lat. 38° 53.038' N., Long. 75° 50.400' W., and downstream of a line beginning at a point on the south shore of the Choptank River, at or near Lat. 38° 53.345' N., Long. 75° 50.115' W., then running 357° (True) to a point, at or near Lat. 38° 53.422' N., Long. 75° 50.120' W. This area has a 6-knot speed limit at all times during the boating season.

#### Regulation .10 Warwick River.

The Warwick River encompasses all the waters of the Warwick River and its tributaries upstream of a line beginning at a point at or near Lat. 38° 36.647' N., Long. 75° 57.288' W., then running 4° (True) to a point, at or near Lat. 38° 36.718' N., Long. 75° 57.282' W. This area has a 6-knot speed limit all year.
