This chapter is intended to carry out the provisions of Business Regulation Article, §§2-106.3 and 2-106.4, Annotated Code of Maryland, and Business Occupations and Professions Article, Title 17, Annotated Code of Maryland. In particular, it is intended to set various fees in order to cover the actual documented direct and indirect costs of fulfilling the statutory and regulatory duties of the Real Estate Commission. Fees charged by the Commission are as follows: Original license fees: Broker — $211; Associate broker —$143; Salesperson — $98; License renewal fees: Broker —$191; Associate broker — $123; Salesperson — $78; Reactivation of inactive license — $28; Reinstatement fees: Reinstatement of license—$168; CE Late fee—$75; Broker business name change, for broker and each license under broker — $28; Personal name change — $28; Transfer to another broker — $28; Certificate of license history: For 5-year history — $28; For full history — $84.
