A promoter holding a contest to raise funds for a charitable purpose shall file, before the contest, the following information: The name of the charity the contest benefits; The amount or percentage of the gross receipts from the contest to be paid to the charity; and A certificate of registration from the Secretary of State. The Commission shall advise the Secretary of State that a charity contest is scheduled and the names of the principal parties.
