A contest between female contestants shall be subject to all the requirements of this chapter. The following requirements for a female contestant are in addition to the requirements under §A of this regulation: A female contestant may not contract for, or engage in, a contest with a male contestant; Contests shall be limited as follows: Not more than eight rounds of 2-minute duration with a 1-minute rest period between rounds, depending on the skills of the contestants competing; and Eight rounds of 2-minute duration with a 1-minute rest period between rounds for a championship contest; An abdominal guard shall be worn and a breast protector shall be used as a binder; Hair shall be secured in a manner that it does not interfere with the vision or safety of either contestant; A boxer who is pregnant may not engage in a contest; Promoters shall provide adequate, separate dressing rooms; Cosmetic use shall be prohibited; An examination under Regulation .01 of this chapter shall include a pelvic examination; An examination under Regulation .04 of this chapter shall include an abdominal and breast examination with notations of any masses; and Gloves used in the contest shall be: 8 ounces for weight classifications less than 148 pounds; and 10 ounces for weight classifications 148 pounds or greater. A female contestant shall: Take a HCG serum pregnancy test within 5 days before each contest; and Submit the results of the test to the Commission at the final physical. Failure of a female contestant to comply with §C of this regulation shall result in the immediate disqualification of the female contestant for a contest.
