Unless the organization agrees to fewer rounds per contest or rounds of a lesser duration, each amateur mixed martial arts contest shall consist of three 3-minute rounds with a 1-minute rest period between each round. The organization shall prescribe the total number of rounds and the total number of amateur mixed martial arts contests a promoter is authorized to schedule. Not more than one corner person for each amateur MMA contestant may be in the fighting area between rounds.
