### Chapter 18 — Muay Thai Regulations — Professional

#### Regulation .07 Rounds.

*COMAR 09.14.18.07*

A. Each round shall be 3 minutes in duration, with a 1 minute rest period between rounds.

B. Bouts shall ordinarily be scheduled for either three or five rounds.

C. When a tournament and/or another format is approved, the total number of rounds allowed to be contested in a day shall be determined by the Commission.

D. At the discretion of the Commission, bouts will begin after the completion of any pre-fight rituals, in accordance with Thai traditions.
