A home inspector shall describe: Insulation and vapor retarders or barriers in accessible unfinished spaces; If applicable, the absence of insulation in unfinished spaces at conditioned surfaces; and The presence or absence of a moisture barrier in a crawlspace. A home inspector is not required to: Disturb insulation, retarders, or barriers; or Determine indoor air quality.
