### Chapter 07 — Petitions for Adoption, Amendment, or Repeal of Regulations

#### Regulation .02 Definitions.

*COMAR 10.01.07.02*

A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.

B. Terms Defined.

  (1) “Department” means the Maryland Department of Health.

  (2) “Petition” means a petition to promulgate, amend, or repeal a regulation.

  (3) “Petitioner” means an interested person filing a petition to the Department to promulgate, amend, or repeal a regulation.

  (4) “Regulation” has the meaning stated in State Government Article, §10-101, Annotated Code of Maryland.

  (5) “Secretary” means the Secretary of Health.
