### Chapter 20 — Intermediate Care Facilities for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities or Persons with Related Conditions (ICF/IID)

#### Regulation .03 Definitions.

*COMAR 10.07.20.03*

A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.

B. Terms Defined.

  (1) “Department” means the Maryland Department of Health.

  (2) “Facility” means an intermediate care facility for individuals with intellectual disabilities or persons with related conditions (ICF/IID) within the scope of this chapter.

  (3) “License” means a license issued by the Secretary to operate a facility.

  (4) “Secretary” means the Secretary of Health.
