A case manager providing case management under this chapter shall be: An RN; or A social worker. The following professionals providing services under this chapter to REM participants shall be licensed, certified, or otherwise legally authorized to practice in the jurisdiction in which the services are rendered: Physicians; Physician Assistants; Nurse Practitioners; RNs and LPNs; Chiropractors; Dentists; Dietitian-Nutritionists; Occupational therapists; Social workers; Speech-language pathologists; and CNAs, HHAs, CNA-CMTs, and HHA-CMTs. A provider rendering services pursuant to this chapter shall meet all applicable licensure and certification requirements of the jurisdiction in which the provider is providing services. A provider rendering services to REM participants, pursuant to this chapter, may not have current sanctions or current disciplinary actions imposed by: The jurisdictional licensing or certification authority; The Medicare Program; The Program; or Other federally funded healthcare programs.
