The administrator shall develop and implement policies and procedures for obtaining routine and emergency laboratory and radiological services to meet the needs of the patient. Policies and procedures shall include: Turn-around time; Review of laboratory reports; and Documentation of laboratory results. Laboratory facilities shall be: Approved under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Act (CLIA); and Licensed by the State under COMAR 10.10.03. The facility shall include in the patient's medical records: Laboratory reports; and Radiological findings.
