The Department shall: Administer the Program and perform related administration activities, including: Develop and release an annual request for proposals; Convene an expert panel to review applications and select grantees; and Ensure that grantees remain in compliance with request for proposals requirements; Administer the Fund; Provide a grant or grants in each fiscal year, in accordance with the State budget, to qualified medical institutions; and Maintain records of grantee activities supported by the Fund.
