### Chapter 04 — Food and Drink Processing and Transportation

#### Regulation .01 Scope.

*COMAR 10.15.04.01*

This chapter:

A. Provides the minimum food safety and sanitation requirements for food processing plants, including warehouses and transfer stations, and the transportation of food;

B. Is not intended to govern a meat processing plant that solely processes meat products under the regulation and inspection of the United States Department of Agriculture in accordance with the Code of Federal Regulations.
