### Chapter 01 — Public Swimming Pools and Spas

#### Regulation .48 Sanitary Quality of Water.

*COMAR 10.17.01.48*

Although routine testing is not required, an owner shall ensure that the water in a public pool or spa:

A. Has a coliform bacteria level of less than 1 coliform per milliliter; and

B. Is free of pathogenic organisms.
