This chapter does not modify the resident's: Legal rights; Access to seek private legal counsel from attorneys not receiving funding for legal assistance from the Maryland Department of Health; or Access to a court. The Resident Grievance System is not governed by the contested case provisions of the Administrative Procedure Act, State Government Article, Title 10, Annotated Code of Maryland.
