In addition to the training requirements in COMAR 10.22.02.11A — D, the licensee shall ensure that staff who provide behavior support services, before being assigned independent duties, receive training in the: Principles of behavioral change; and Appropriate methods of preventing or managing challenging behaviors, which may include the use of mechanical restraints.
