A.
The provider shall sign an agreement with the Administration.
B.
The rights of the Administration include but are not limited to the following:
(1)
Approving the individuals to be served;
(2)
Performing a utilization review of individual indicator rating scales; and
(3)
Auditing provider operations.
C.
Personal Needs Allowance.
(1)
On January 1, 2009, the Administration set the personal needs allowance at $299 per month for an individual.
(2)
The Administration may increase this amount annually not to exceed the:
(a)
Social Security Administration's cost-of-living increase to Supplemental Security Income; or
(b)
Medically needy income level as set forth in COMAR 10.09.24.
(3)
The Administration shall notify all licensees whenever any increase to the personal needs allowance takes effect.
