The provider shall sign an agreement with the Administration. The rights of the Administration include but are not limited to the following: Approving the individuals to be served; Performing a utilization review of individual indicator rating scales; and Auditing provider operations. Personal Needs Allowance. On January 1, 2009, the Administration set the personal needs allowance at $299 per month for an individual. The Administration may increase this amount annually not to exceed the: Social Security Administration's cost-of-living increase to Supplemental Security Income; or Medically needy income level as set forth in COMAR 10.09.24. The Administration shall notify all licensees whenever any increase to the personal needs allowance takes effect.
