In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.

Terms Defined.
(1)
“Board” means the State Board of Morticians and Funeral Directors.
(2)
“Licensee” means, unless the context requires otherwise, a holder of a license issued by the Board to practice mortuary science in Maryland to the extent permitted under Health Occupations Article, Title 7, Annotated Code of Maryland.
(3)
“Penalty” means monetary fine.
