The Board, upon receipt of the Committee's recommendations, shall take one of the following actions: Accept the Committee's recommendations; Accept the Committee's recommendation with modifications; or Reject the Committee's recommendations with instructions. If the Board refers a case to the Attorney General's Office for prosecution, a liaison shall be assigned to assist the prosecutor with the preparation of the charges. Upon receipt of the charges prepared by the prosecutor, the Board shall vote to ratify the charge document. After a prehearing conference or a hearing on the charges, the Board may vote to: Discuss the complaint or any sections of the charges; Find no violation; Find a violation and issue a disposition agreement; Issue a cease and desist order; Issue a reprimand; Place a licensee on probation, with or without conditions; Charge a monetary penalty; Issue a suspension of the licensee; Revoke a license; or Combine any of the above. In addition, following the Board’s vote, the Board shall issue a written document regarding the action taken. All of these documents will be sent to the licensee. The Board shall notify the complainant of the resolution of the complaint, as permitted by General Provisions Article, §4–333, Annotated Code of Maryland.
