Written protocols for cosmetic medical procedures and equipment shall include the following: List of all equipment, including: Manufacturer's specifications; Operating instructions; and Maintenance log; Documentation regarding initial and periodic training of all users of the equipment; Role of the physician for each procedure; Role of the non-physician for each procedure; Steps to address common complications and emergency situations; and Appropriate care and follow-up for the patient after the procedure.
