Regulation .05 Standards of Care.

In evaluating the standards of care for the practice of a licensed perfusionist, the Board may consider, but is not limited to, the guidelines published by the American Society of Extracorporeal Technology (AmSECT).

If a particular practice issue has not yet been addressed in the AmSECT guidelines, the Board may consult with a licensed perfusionist-advanced.
