A.
Council Duties.
(1)
The Council shall:
(a)
Develop and recommend to the Board a formulary for use by licensed naturopathic doctors;
(b)
Annually review the formulary adopted by the Board under §B(2) of this regulation to determine if any changes are necessary for compliance with current prescribing standards or the practice of naturopathic medicine;
(c)
Otherwise review the formulary at the direction of the Board; and
(d)
Make recommendations to the Board based on the reviews conducted under this regulation.
(2)
The Board shall adopt a formulary based on the Council's recommendations under this regulation.
B.
Board Duties.
(1)
The Board may modify or reject any recommendation of the Council regarding the formulary.
(2)
The formulary adopted by the Board shall be in accordance with Health Occupations Article, §14-5F-04.1, Annotated Code of Maryland.
