An individual who is solely licensed as a naturopathic doctor may not:
A.
Prescribe, dispense, or administer any prescription drug;
B.
Perform surgical procedures;
C.
Unless licensed under the Health Occupations Article, Annotated Code of Maryland, practice or claim to practice as:
(1)
A medical doctor or physician;
(2)
An osteopath;
(3)
A dentist;
(4)
A podiatrist;
(5)
An optometrist;
(6)
A psychologist;
(7)
A nurse practitioner;
(8)
A physician assistant;
(9)
A chiropractor;
(10)
A physical therapist;
(11)
An acupuncturist; or
(12)
Any other health care professional;
D.
Use general or spinal anesthetics;
E.
Administer ionizing radioactive substances for therapeutic purposes;
F.
Perform chiropractic adjustments or manipulations that include high velocity thrusts at or beyond the end range of normal joint motion unless the licensee is also a licensed chiropractor; or
G.
Perform acupuncture unless the licensee is also a licensed acupuncturist.
