Regulation .02 Continuing Education Requirements for Assisted Living Managers.

The approval of continuing education hours shall be at the discretion of the Board.

Before renewal, an assisted living manager shall submit satisfactory evidence of having completed a minimum of 20 hours of Department approved continuing education, unless otherwise specified by State or federal law, within the 2-year period before the renewal date.

The Board shall audit a percentage of assisted living managers, to be determined by the Board, for each reporting period.

On request by the Board, an assisted living manager shall provide full documentation of the credit hours completed in accordance with the requirements of this regulation.

A licensee suspended for disciplinary reasons is not exempt from the continuing education requirement in this regulation.
