#### Regulation .01 Scope.

*COMAR 10.36.06.01*

These regulations govern all those licensed or applying for licensure by the Board, or registering as a psychology associate.

#### Regulation .02 Fees.

*COMAR 10.36.06.02*

The following fees are established by the Board:

A. Licensure application fee — $300;

B. Psychology associate registration application fee — $200;

C. Examination fees:

  (1) National examination — $650;

  (2) State examination — $250;

D. Verification of licensure or registration — $20;

E. Biennial licensure renewal fee — $400;

F. Biennial registration renewal fee — $300;

G. Late fee — $50;

H. Inactive status fee (every 2 years) — $200;

I. Reinstatement fee for license — $700;

J. Reinstatement fee for registration — $600;

K. Penalty for returned check — $50;

L. Duplicate license or registration:

  (1) Wall certificate — $50;

  (2) Wallet card — $30;

M. Temporary Exception to Practice — $100.

N. Roster of licensed psychologists or registered psychology associates — $150.

#### Regulation .03 Refunds.

Application fees are nonrefundable. Examination fees shall be refunded if the request to cancel an examination is received in writing 2 weeks before the examination date.

#### Regulation .04 Change of Fees.

Fees are subject to change by action of the Board of Examiners of Psychologists. Licensees and applicants shall be notified of the change.

#### Regulation .05 One-Time Transitional Annual Licensure Renewal Fee.

For licensure renewal due between January 1 and March 31, 2000, a licensee whose license number is an odd number shall submit one-half of the biennial renewal fee for a 1-year license.

#### Regulation .06 Assessment for Health Care Professionals.

The Maryland Health Care Commission (MHCC) assesses a fee for health care professionals which the applicant shall pay at the time of license renewal as specified in COMAR 10.25.02.
