The Board shall renew the certificate of each certificate holder who meets the requirements of this chapter. The certificate holder shall renew the certificate every 2 years by birth month. At least 3 months before a certificate expires, the Board shall send the certificate holder a renewal notice by: First-class mail to the last known address of the certificate holder; or Electronic means to the last known electronic address of the certificate holder. An individual applying for renewal of certification shall provide evidence of: Satisfactory completion of a Board-approved clinical refresher course; and Completion of 100 hours of practice as a certified medicine technician within the 2-year period preceding the date of renewal.
