Regulation .33 Emergency Response Plan for Administering Medication.

A dentist who supervises a dental hygienist who is recognized by the Board to prescribe and administer medication shall have a medical emergency plan for the dental hygienist to follow in the event of an emergency.

In the event of an emergency, the dental hygienist shall immediately summon the supervising dentist.
