#### Regulation .01 Definitions.

*COMAR 10.44.06.01*

A. In this chapter, the following terms have the meanings indicated.

B. Terms Defined.

  (1) “Board” means the State Board of Dental Examiners.

  (2) “Dentist” means an individual who holds a current license to practice dentistry in Maryland.

  (3) “General dentist” means a dentist not recognized by the Board as a specialist in an area of dental specialty.
