### Chapter 24 — Retired Volunteer Licenses

#### Regulation .09 Surrender of License.

*COMAR 10.44.24.09*

A. A dentist or a dental hygienist who has been granted a site-specific retired volunteer dentist's or dental hygienist's license shall immediately surrender the license to the Board when the dentist or dental hygienist ceases to:

  (1) Provide volunteer dental or dental hygiene services at the institution named on the license; or

  (2) Be covered by malpractice insurance from or through the institution named on the license.

B. A dentist or a dental hygienist who has been granted a retired volunteer dentist's or dental hygienist's license that is not site-specific shall immediately surrender the license to the Board when the dentist or dental hygienist ceases to be covered by malpractice insurance.
