### Chapter 26 — Volunteer Licenses

#### Regulation .11 Scope of Practice.

*COMAR 10.44.26.11*

A. A dentist or dental hygienist with a volunteer license to practice dentistry or dental hygiene in the State shall practice only:

  (1) In a dental office;

  (2) In a dental clinic;

  (3) In an ambulatory care facility;

  (4) In a hospital; or

  (5) For an entity providing medical care to the poor, the elderly, or handicapped that is operated:

    (a) By the State;

    (b) By a local government;

    (c) By a bona fide charitable organization; or

    (d) In any other setting approved by the Board.
