A licensee shall establish and follow written procedures for verifying the background and education of forensic laboratory employees. A licensee shall verify the background and education of an individual by a: Background investigation; Review of the individual’s grade transcript from the college or university that the individual attended, that is: The original record or transcript document; or An official certified copy of the transcript; Test for abuse of controlled dangerous substances; and Polygraph examination, if available.
