The Council shall: Provide guidance to the Secretary on Statewide chronic disease prevention and control; Direct the priorities and work of the committees; and Promote evidence-based programs for: Healthy lifestyles; and The prevention, early detection, and treatment of chronic disease. The Council shall submit a report of its activities to the Secretary on or before December 31, 2019 and every 2 years thereafter.
