An institution shall be approved by the Board before initiating an electrology program. An institution seeking approval of an educational program shall submit to the Board: A completed application on a form required by the Board; A copy of the curriculum and course outline: Describing how the program meets the requirements of Regulations .04 and .05 of this chapter; and Providing for at least 600 hours of instruction; A copy of the course catalog; and Evidence of approval by MHEC. The Board shall notify the educational program of its decision within 60 days of the day a completed application is received by the Board.
