The electrologist shall explain the following to the patient before treatment: The treatment procedure, including standard precautions; The modality used; Hair growth cycles; Regrowth; The importance of keeping the follow-up treatment schedule; Possible tissue reactions following treatment; The importance of after-treatment care; and The treatment fee.
