An individual may not conduct the business of a title service agent unless the individual meets the requirements set forth in this chapter and is licensed. A license may be obtained by submitting to the Administration in the form required by the Administration: An application; Zoning approval, as set forth in Regulation .03B of this chapter; A surety bond as set forth in Regulation .07 of this chapter; and The fee as set forth in COMAR 11.11.05. The Administration may renew licenses every 2 years. A licensed title service agent shall notify the Administration immediately of any change in the information submitted in the original application or a renewal application.
