A.
The Administration may issue an apprentice instructor permit authorizing a qualified applicant to give instruction in the driver education program courses under the supervision of a certified driver education instructor.
B.
The apprentice instructor permit is valid for 6 months and may not be extended or renewed.
C.
An apprentice instructor permit shall:
(1)
Only be issued once to the same individual;
(2)
Authorize teaching both behind-the-wheel and classroom instruction; and
(3)
Authorize instruction only with the certified school where the apprentice instructor is employed.
D.
An apprentice instructor permit may not be transferred, sold, or assigned.
