An inmate may use the ARP to resolve a complaint related to: Correctional facility policy and procedures; Medical and mental health services; Access to a court; Religious liberties; Inmate property that is: Lost; Damaged; Stolen; Destroyed; or Confiscated; Complaints against staff; Use of force; Sentence computation and diminution of confinement; Correctional facility conditions affecting inmate: Health; Safety; or Welfare; Retaliation for seeking to resolve a complaint through the ARP; Management and application of the procedures under this chapter for resolving an inmate complaint; Commissary; and Inmate telephone system. An inmate may not use the ARP to resolve a complaint concerning: Case management recommendations and decisions; Parole Commission procedures and decisions; Inmate disciplinary hearing procedures and decisions; Appeals of a decision to withhold inmate mail; or The following acts by staff or another inmate, which shall be addressed according to Department procedures for addressing complaints under the Prison Rape Elimination Act: Rape; Sexual assault, sexual harassment, sexual abuse; and Other sexual misconduct.
