Regulation .07 Course of Fire Requirements for Long Gun Qualification.

A Type 1 and Type 2 long gun qualification may only be conducted using agency approved ammunition.

A Type 3 and Type 4 long gun qualification may be conducted using agency approved ammunition or the ballistic equivalent as defined and authorized by the individual’s agency.
