A.
The purpose of the Uniform State Disciplinary Matrix is for law enforcement agencies to apply disciplinary standards in a fair, equitable and consistent manner Statewide.
B.
This chapter establishes the Uniform State Disciplinary Matrix required for all matters that may result in discipline of a police officer.
C.
A law enforcement agency shall adopt the Uniform State Disciplinary Matrix in accordance with Public Safety Article,
§3-105, Annotated Code of Maryland.
