A.
A local law enforcement unit shall send a copy of the completed notice of registration for child sexual offenders to the county superintendent concerning:
(1)
A resident child sexual offender who lives in that county; or
(2)
A nonresident child sexual offender employed or attending school in that county.
B.
As soon as possible but not later than 5 business days after receiving notice, a county superintendent shall send written notice of child sexual offender registration to principals of the schools under the superintendent's supervision that the superintendent considers necessary to protect the students of a school from a child sexual offender.
