The following time limits may be extended by the amount of time that equals the length of time an individual is on inactive status: The time for completion of an applicant’s evaluations prior to submitting an application for certification or renewal of certification; The time for completion of an applicant’s training program, instructor’s course or instruction prior to submitting an application for provisional certification, certification, or renewal of certification; The time of an individual’s term of certification; and The time for completing a required firearms qualification course of fire. Reporting Inactive Status to the Commission. At the request of an instructor, the training authority shall report the individual’s inactive status to the Commission. A training authority shall include in the report the date the individual is placed on inactive status and the date the inactive status ends.
